Fluke FEV300 EV Charging Station Test Adaptor with Type 2 Connector

The Fluke FEV300 EV Charging Station Test Adaptor with Type 2 Connector allows for the testing of electric vehicle charging points by mimicking an electrical vehicle and simulating a charging cycle (voltage/current output), allowing for easy performance and maintenance testing. The FEV300 is deigned to test the function and safety of charging stations mode 3 for AC charging,The Fluke FEV300 is compatible with a number of Fluke testers such as the Fluke 1664FC multifunction tester.

The FEV300 allows the user to perform a number of tests including ground fault checks, insulation of wires, measuring voltage and duty cycle to see if max current is available for charging. The FEV300 will simulate Control Pilot (CP (E) and PE (Earth Fault) whilst also includes separate phase indication by three LED lamps for a quick and simple check to see if voltage is present. The adaptor includes a number of measuring terminals; L1, L2, L3, N and PE to perform safety and functional tests.

The Fluke FEV300 can test for possible presence of dangerous voltage against earth and perform cable simulation with the PP state rotary switch simulating current capabilities of charging cables. The adaptor tests in accordance with IEC/EN 61851-1 land IEC/HD 60364-7-722 standards. 

When used alongside the Fluke 1664FC Multifunction Tester, the FEV300 performs safety measurements via the measuring terminals such as earth bond, insulation, loop/line impedance and RCD trip test. The Fluke FEV300 has incorporated terminals for CP signal output to check the communication between the adapter and a charging station. The voltage level is defined by the charging modes and the duty cycle of the Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) signal defines the maximum allowable charging current.

The Fluke FEV300 is IP54 rated, protecting the charger from water and dust ingress with further protection offered by the included carry case.
