IPEC Partial Discharge (PD) Detector Pro

The IPEC Partial Discharge (PD) Detector Pro uses innovative and design to deliver handheld partial discharge (PD) spot testing in a safety and diagnostic tool that shows the user the PD level as well as the noise level simultaneously. Noise rejection algorithms effectively filter out background electrical noise. Users are also able to hear any PD activity on all sensors allowing for routine surveys and advanced diagnostics in one device. When a sensor is plugged into the PD Detector Pro, the instrument will automatically recognise the type of sensor and switch to the correct operating mode. allowing for routine surveys and advanced diagnostics in one device.

The PD detector Pro features a number of functions enabling the device to detect partial discharge in MV and HV assets. Compatible with a number of sensors including CC-TEV, AA, HFCT, UHF and VDS, the PD Detector Pro, is able to detect MV and HVC problems before they occur. The PD Detector Pro features an in-built wireless sync built into the instrument to ensure partial discharge can be viewed in phase with the power cycle. The wireless sync automatically locks on the exact 50/60Hz frequency from HV assets.

The PD Detector Pro detects partial discharge generated in assets Air Insulated Switchgear (AIS), Gas Insulated (GIS), cables and switchyards (with accessory)

The large 3.5" colour touchscreen allows for clear and simple analysis of measurements of large PRPD and data views. The internal storage of the PD Detector Pro allows for storage and reporting of PD data

The PD Detector Pro allows for syncing to both PC or a Cloud. Data can be synced to a users PC using the software or synced remotely to the Cloud, providing access across different devices.

PD Smart Hub Software

The Detector Pro is compatible with the IPEC PD Smart Hub Software allowing for PD data to be store and historic data to be viewed and analysed whilst being stored centrally store. Other features include scalable PD data trends and PRPD displays. User safety can be improved thanks to high PD warnings and alerts and alarms should high levels of PD be detected. User of the software are able to generate custom reports for colleagues and customers.

The PD Detector Pro allows for syncing to both PC or a Cloud. Data can be synced to a users PC using the software or synced remotely to the Cloud, providing access across different devices.
