The Kane 458s IAQ Flue Gas Analyser with Indoor Air Quality is Kane’s latest offering, combining flue gas analysis with indoor air quality analysis to offer the world’s only FGA approved to EN50379 and EN50543. Replacing Kane’s popular 457, the 458s IAQ is set to become the industry standard for those seeking a complete solution for flue gas and ambient indoor air quality quality evaluation, including catering engineers and compliance managers performing fumes investigations. This model measures ambient CO2 0-9,999ppm, CO up to 10,000ppm with H2 compensation (up to 20% blend), O2 0-21% and differential pressure +/- 80 mBar as standard, with optional sensor additions including NO 0-600ppm.

Compatible with common fuel types including natural gas, LPG, wood pellets, butane, light oil and propane, the Kane 458s IAQ is the perfect tool for installing and servicing domestic gas, oil, biomass and commercial appliances up to 120KW. The 458s IAQ boasts an impressive raft of testing features including temperature, appliance sweep, room migration, tightness, flue let by and combustion performance/efficiency.

The hard plastic body of the 458 IAQ offers protection from knocks and bumps, while the tactile rotary dial makes changing modes and features easy. The large LCD screen features multi-line display allowing for up to 6 data points to be presented at once, with a hold data function allowing for readings to be captured with the press of a button. The optional inclusion of the Kane IR printer allows users to connect to the device wirelessly to print results on-site.

When looking to evaluate indoor air quality within multiple rooms, the Kane79 Link Wireless Ambient CO Monitor (included within the CMDDA1 kit) allows you to monitor up to 4 rooms simultaneously, reducing test times from up to 2 hours to approximately 30 minutes. Wirelessly test airflow, temperature, humidity, flow and return temperatures from a single device connected across multiple locations. The Kane Live app even allows you to view results remotely, connecting your mobile device to your analyser to show current readings and provide pump/purge control.

The Kane Live App is compatible with Android Devices and free from the Play Store. This multilingual App includes several extremely useful features beneficial for anyone with a Flue Gas Analyser. See your test results live on your smart device and even tag them with real-time GPS data & printouts all while still physically on site. Printouts can be shared along with downloaded analyser logs as CSV files, with analyser user details amendable within the App itself.

The Kane Printer App is compatible with Android/iOS and is free from both the Play & App Store. With this app users can quickly connect to their analyser and view test results before emailing them to their contacts. Log each test location via GPS then save printouts to edit before transfer. Fully customise personal notes even in poor lighting conditions as a useful NightMode is incorporated within the app.
