KANE 458s Flue Gas Analyser HVACR Kit
The KANE 458s IAQ Flue Gas Analyser HVACR Kit combines the KANE 458s IAQ HVACR flue gas analyser with a selection of wireless HVAC/R testing accessories. Designed for heating, air conditioning, heat pump, refrigeration and indoor air quality applications, this kit supports combustion testing, appliance safety checks, IAQ CO2 measurement, pressure testing, airflow checks and connected HVAC/R diagnostics.
The KANE 458s IAQ HVACR adds indoor air quality CO2 measurement to the standard HVACR analyser functionality. It can be used to test appliances for CO and CO2, perform room tests for CO and CO2, and carry out commercial direct and flueless appliance CO and CO2 checks. It is also suitable for kitchen appliance testing including CP42, CIS and BS8494 applications.
For HVAC/R work, the kit includes the KANE-HUB4 setup with two wireless pipe clamp temperature probes and two wireless pressure probes. These allow users to measure system temperatures and pressures wirelessly when working on heat pump, air conditioning and refrigeration systems, including superheat and subcooling checks.
The included KANE-DTHA2 wireless anemometer and 20128 extender add airflow, temperature and relative humidity measurement capability, supporting ventilation and air-side checks. HARHOSE pressure tubing is also included for pressure testing tasks.
The KANE 458s is also the world’s first heating and cooling analyser. The dial now includes an AC & Refrigeration option, which allows for the measurement of AC & refrigeration systems. The user can now conduct the refrigeration side, the air side, and the EVAC test.
KANE-HUB App
The KANE-HUB App allows compatible KANE tools and probes to connect wirelessly to your mobile device via Bluetooth, helping you view live measurement values from one place while working on site.
Depending on the connected instruments, the app can display refrigerant, air side and vacuum measurements in your preferred units. It can also calculate key HVAC/R values such as superheat and subcooling, with the option to save commonly used refrigerants as favourites for quicker access.
With wireless connectivity, simple probe connection and an easy-to-navigate display, the KANE-HUB App helps users monitor system information without being fixed to one position during testing, servicing or commissioning work.
KANE LOCK
KANE LOCK will automatically disable your stolen analyser, acting as a deterrent and blocking unauthorised access and usage.
This feature requires weekly connection to KANE LIVE on an Android or iOS smart device, and will stop your analyser working after 1 week of separation from your device.
