The kit also includes a number of other accessories, such as a protective Kane backpack and a Kane IRP3 wireless printer.

Kane 460 Flue Gas Analyser

The Kane 460 Flue Gas Analyser allows the user to install, commission and service boilers, heat pumps, A/C and refrigerant systems. Both domestic and commercial heating and water systems can be tested as well as safety checks which can determine if CO is present in a room or around any appliance.

Using the Kane 460 operators are able to perform sweep and CO migration tests when boilers are commissioned, as well as measuring a building IAQ and ventilation.

The Kane 460 provides users with a number of test readings that it can calculate and measure a wider range of applications including:

  • CO 0-10,000 ppm H2 compensated with over range protection
  • O2 0-21%
  • NO 0-5,000ppm (option)
  • Temperature inlet/flue gas, differential pressure/ambient
  • High accuracy differential pressure meter +/- 160mba
  • Calculate CO2 0-99%
  • Calculate the CO/CO2 ratio
  • Excess air
  • A/C and refrigeration subsoil and superheat
  • Calculate the combustion efficiency

Using the Kane 460 Flue Gas Analyser users are able to measure a number of fuel types including: Natural Gas, LPG, Butane, Propane, Light Oil, Heavy Oil and plus user fuels. Over 40 refrigerants can be detected including R22, R32, R134a, R290 and R410A.

The Kane 460 is protected from vapour damage thanks to the Hydrophobic water trap and a protective rubber sleeve and Kane backpack offers further protection when on site or in transport.

The ASP3 kit including within the CPA kit is an appliance sampling probe kit suitable for grills, gas fires & general purpose. With a 5mm diameter/2.2m flexible tube and separate handle & hose assembly for ease of use. The Kane GLD/450plus gas leak detector can detect combustible gases and other fluids with concentrations as small as 50ppm detectable.

Kane IRP-3 Infra-Red Printer

The Kane 460 CPA kit 2 includes the Kane IRP-3 Infrared Printer allowing users to print hard copies of test results and measurements via a wireless infrared data transfer. Powered by rechargeable batteries, the IRP3 uses thermally sensitive paper rather than ink or ribbons. The user friendly printer provides a simple and easy way to print results when carrying out inspections using the Kane 460 Flue Gas Analyser.

Kane Link
