KANE 460 Flue Gas Analyser with HVACR Kit

The KANE 460 Flue Gas Analyser with HVACR Kit provides users with a comprehensive and portable gas analysis kit that is ideal for a wide range of applications, including heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration (HVAC&R). The HVACR kit comes supplied with a number of useful components for us supplied with CP2 combustion probe, KANE-DTHA2 anemometer & 20128 extender, KANE-HUB4 kit (2 × WPCP wireless temperature clamp probes & 2 × WPP wireless pass through pressure probes), 2 psi pressure sensor & hose, CU12VDC2A21 charger, a handset pouch, & Kane backpack

KANE 460 Flue Gas Analyser

The KANE 460 Flue Gas Analyser is suitable for the installation, commissioning and servicing of boilers, heat pumps, A/C and refrigeration systems. The testing of both domestic and commercial heating and water systems and safety checks to determine if there is CO present in a room or round an appliance can all be performed using the Kane 460. Sweep and CO migration tests to be performed when commissioning boilers, as well as measuring a building IAQ and ventilation. Flue draught, system and tightness tests can also be performed with the Kane 460.

The Kane 460 provides users with a number of test readings that it can calculate and measure a wider range of applications including:

  • CO 0-10,000 ppm H2 compensated with over range protection
  • O2 0-21%
  • NO 0-5,000ppm (option)
  • Temperature inlet/flue gas, differential pressure/ambient
  • High accuracy differential pressure meter +/- 160mba
  • Calculate CO2 0-99%
  • Calculate the CO/CO2 ratio
  • Excess air
  • A/C and refrigeration subsoil and superheat
  • Calculate the combustion efficiency

The Kane 460 can be used to perform sweep and CO migration tests, as well as measure building IAQ and ventilation. The 460 can be used to test heat pumps and AC systems without the need for a manifold or hoses.

Using the Kane 460 Flue Gas Analyser operators are able to measure a number of fuel types including: Natural Gas, LPG, Butane, Propane, Light Oil, Heavy Oil and plus user fuels. With over 40 refrigerants can be detected including R22, R32, R134a, R290 and R410A.

Kane-HUB4

The Kane 460 HVACR kit comes with a Kane HUB$ heat pump and refrigeration kit allowing users to test system performance with wireless temperature and pressure probes which replaces the needs for manifolds and hoses. Using the 2 x WPCP wireless temperature probes and 2 x WPP wireless pressure probes, users are able to measure flow and return and high/low temperature. Low and high pressure can be measured the equivalent of using a 4 way manifold. With a 100m line of sight range users can also calculate superheat, sub cooling, evaporation and condensation. All results can be seen and saved and transferred using the Kane Live App

Kane-DTHA2 Wireless Airflow, Temperature and Humidity Anemometer

The Kane 460 HVACR kit includes a Kane-DTHA2 Wireless Airflow, Temperature and Humidity Anemometer, which, when paired with a Kane link flue gas analyser allows for the wireless testing of a rooms ventilation by measuring the airflow, temperature ranges between -20 to +50°C, relative humidity (RH) from 0.1 to 99%. Real time results for tests such as the A/C units and kitchen extraction fans between 1.1 to 20 m/s can be viewed of the Kane 460. Calculations for outlet volume flow with dimensions and geometry can also be performed.

Kane Link

The KANE 460 Flue Gas Analyser can be wirelessly connected to any compatible Kane product that also features Kane Link, allowing users to further use their Kane 460 Flue Analyser to test A/C units, Kitchen fans, heating systems and more when used alongside a compatible Kane Link instrument.

Kane Live App

Kane Live can be downloaded on both Android and iOS compatible devices. Using the App users are able connect their Kane 460 analyser to view test results and also email reports to customers or colleagues with data logged as CSV files. Test locations can be logged using GPS and customisable personal notes can also be added to test results.
