KANE 460 Flue Gas Analyser with Oil Kit

The KANE 460 Flue Gas Analyser with Oil Kit allows for the technicians to perform pressure and tightness tests as well as performing TB143 boiler tests. BS7967 sweep and CMDDA room tests as well as CO2 and COM-Cat testing can also be performed. With the 460 analyser been Kane link enabled, sensors such as CO and NOx can be added as optional extras. Thanks to Kane Link, indoor air quality and HVACR testing can also be performed.

KANE 460 Flue Gas Analyser

The KANE 460 Flue Gas Analyser is suitable for the installation, commissioning and servicing of boilers, heat pumps, A/C and refrigeration systems. The testing of both domestic and commercial heating and water systems and safety checks to determine if there is CO present in a room or round an appliance can all be performed using the Kane 460. Sweep and CO migration tests to be performed when commissioning boilers, as well as measuring a building IAQ and ventilation. Flue draught, system and tightness tests can also be performed with the Kane 460.

The Kane 460 provides users with a number of test readings that it can calculate and measure a wider range of applications including:

  • CO 0-10,000 ppm H2 compensated with over range protection
  • O2 0-21%
  • NO 0-5,000ppm (option)
  • Temperature inlet/flue gas, differential pressure/ambient
  • High accuracy differential pressure meter +/- 160mba
  • Calculate CO2 0-99%
  • Calculate the CO/CO2 ratio
  • Excess air
  • A/C and refrigeration subsoil and superheat
  • Calculate the combustion efficiency

The Kane 460 can be used to perform sweep and CO migration tests, as well as measure building IAQ and ventilation. The 460 can be used to test heat pumps and AC systems without the need for a manifold or hoses.

Using the Kane 460 Flue Gas Analyser operators are able to measure a number of fuel types including: Natural Gas, LPG, Butane, Propane, Light Oil, Heavy Oil and plus user fuels. With over 40 refrigerants can be detected including R22, R32, R134a, R290 and R410A.

The Kane 460 provides users with an analyser perfect for testing both domestic and commercial heating and hot water systems. The commission of boilers, performs sweep and room CO migration testing can also be performed. When commissioning and testing heat pumps, AC and refrigeration systems, the Kane 460 does not require a manifold or hoses.

The Kane 460 Flue Gas Anaylser Oil kit includes a Kane MSP smoke test kit That allows for the the smoke content of oil fired boilers to be checked. With manual operation, the Kane SMP with its robust construction and ease of use operation, flue gas can be drawn through the pump affecting the colour of the filter paper. Once the process is complete the affected filter paper can be compared to the smoke scale included. Further analysis will give the gas technician the data needed to calibrate a given burner correctly if required.

The Kane Oil gauge test kit includes a 300psi pressure gauge, 1.5 bar vacuum gauge, vent fitting worth stopcock, flexible connecting hose and a 1/8" and 1/4" adapters.

Kane IRP-3 Infra-Red Printer

The Kane 460 Pro kit includes the Kane IRP-3 Infrared Printer which allows users to print hard copies of test results and measurements via a wireless infrared data transfer. Powered by rechargeable batteries, the IRP3 uses thermally sensitive paper rather than ink or ribbons. The user friendly printer provides a simple and easy way to print results when carrying out inspections using the Kane 460.

Kane Link

The KANE 460 Flue Gas Analyser is compatible with Kane Link allowing users to wirelessly connect to any compatible Kane product that also features the Kane Link function, allowing the operator to perform more testing such as balance heating systems, check A/C units or kitchen fans, test for CO and more. Using Kane Link users are able to gather all information on the same device.

Kane Live App

Users are able to download the Kane Live App available on both Android and iOS devices, allowing for quick connection to their analyser to log, store and transfer data all in one place. Real time test data with GPS location can also be saved and documented. PDF reports and certificates can be generated whilst test results can also be sent in CSV format for spreadsheets.
