The Metrel MI3155 Eurotest XD Multifunction Tester is an extremely sophisticated installation tester which can be used on single and three-phase electrical installations, mobile generator units, high- and low-frequency installations, machinery & switchboards, medical installations, electric vehicle charging points, and much more.

The Metrel MI3155’s measurement functions benefit from advanced options. The loop impedance test feature has four-wire testing on live transformers in addition to two- and three-wire tests with a Trip Lock RCD function. Furthermore automated testing is available for RCD and impedance testing.

Continuity testing, meanwhile, boasts a 200mA test, four-wire test in addition to a 7mA test for PE conductors that does not trip RCDs. Insulation testing is automatically tested between L-N, N-PE and L-PE and insulation resistance benefits from test voltages between 50V and 2500V with PI and DAR values.

The sophisticated operating system on the Metrel MI3155 is ideal for industrial electricians. It has AUTO SEQUENCE testing so the user can programme sequences themselves or choose from a range of pre-set sequences for TT, TN/RCD, TN, and IT systems. The MFT is even suited to EVSE testing when used with an A1532 Electric Vehicle Charging Station Adaptor.

Operation is conducted via an intuitive interface and a colour touchscreen. Clear push buttons can also be used to navigate and initiate tests and the Metrel MI3155 offers useful help screens and fuse tables. There is a sizeable onboard memory for storing results in a clear logical database and this can be communicated to a PC or smart device by Bluetooth connectivity.

The Metrel MI3155 has a built-in charger and rechargeable batteries as standard and also comes supplied with Metrel ES Manager software, ideal for report generation, analysis, and data transfers. Other accessories include test leads, test probes, crocodile clips, a 20m earth set, USB cable, soft carry case and calibration certificate.
