    Testo 557 Refrigeration Manifold Hose Kit

    The Testo 557 Refrigeration Manifold Hose Kit can be used for a range of refrigerant manifold applications thanks to its set of hoses and four-way measurement. It features the Testo 557 Refrigeration Manifold Gauge plus a range of other useful accessories.

    The Testo 557 Digital Refrigeration Manifold Gauge measures pressure from 0 to 60bar, temperature from -50˚C to 150˚C and vacuum from 0 to 20,000 microns. All parameters are measured to a high degree of accuracy and precision and the user can perform leakage tests or view cooling and heating in real time. It is therefore ideal for the service, maintenance and commissioning of air conditioning and refrigeration systems.

    As a Bluetooth-enabled instrument, the gauge can wirelessly communicate with an Android or iOS smartphone or tablet as long as it has the Testo Refrigeration App installed. Readings are given in bar, microns, psi, kPa, ˚C/˚F, MPa, hPa and inHg. Profiles of 39 refrigerants are stored within the instrument and these can be updated and expanded using the app.

    Four colour-coded hoses are included within the Testo 557 Kit. The three of the 1.5m hoses have a working pressure of 55bar (275bar burst pressure) whilst the fourth has a working pressure of 40bar (205bar burst pressure). Three of the hoses have 7/16” UNF, 1/4” SAE connections and the fourth has 5/8” UNF, 3/8” connections and all four hoses have one straight and one angled connection.

    The Testo 557 Hose Kit also includes two pipe clamp probes that each measure temperature from -50˚C to 150˚C, thus enabling the measurement of differential temperature, for example from the inflow and outflow pipes of a refrigeration system. An external vacuum probe is also included which can measure between 0 and 20000 microns.

    Several other useful accessories are included with the Testo 557 Hose Kit such as a calibration protocol, batteries and a hard carry case. The manifold gauge itself has a battery life of 250 hours and is ideal for fast, efficient work.
