KANE 460 HVACR, Heating, Cooling, Refrigeration and IAQ Analyser
The KANE 460 HVACR, Heating, Cooling, Refrigeration and IAQ Analyser is a portable, multi-gas flue gas analyser that is ideal for a wide range of applications, including: the installation, commissioning, and servicing of boilers, heat pumps, AC and refrigeration systems without the need for a manifold or hose. Users of the Kane 460 are able to test both domestic and commercial heating and hot water systems. Users are able to perform safety checks to determine if there is CO in a room or around an appliance. When commissioning boilers sweep and room CO migration tests can be performed, as well as measuring a building IAQ and ventilation.
The Kane 460's 2psi/160 mbar pressure sensor allows for Flue draught, system and tightness tests to be performed. The temperature flow and return with high and low readings alongside high and low side pressures can also be performed when using the Kane 460 alongside a Kane LINK wireless device.
The Kane 460 provides users with a number of test readings that it can calculate and measure a wider range of applications including:
- CO 0-10,000 ppm H2 compensated with over range protection
- O2 0-21%
- NO 0-5,000ppm (option)
- Temperature inlet/flue gas, differential pressure/ambient
- High accuracy differential pressure meter +/- 160mba
- Calculate CO2 0-99%
- Calculate the CO/CO2 ratio
- Excess air
- A/C and refrigeration subsoil and superheat
- Calculate the combustion efficiency
The Kane 460 is a user-friendly instrument that is easy to transport and operate. It features a large, backlit display and a simple menu system. The analyser also comes with a number of accessories, including a flue gas probe, a protective rubber sleeve, a battery charger, a test report, and a carrying case. The Kane 460 is protected from vapour damage thanks to the Hydrophobic water trap.
The Kane 460 allows for a number of fuel types to be measure including Natural Gas, LPG, Butane, Propane, Light Oil, Heavy Oil and plus user fuels. Over 40 refrigerants can be detected including R22, R32, R134a, R290 and R410A.
Kane Link
The KANE 460 HVACR, Heating, Cooling, Refrigeration and IAQ Analyser is compatible with Kane Link. Kane Link allows users to wirelessly connect to any compatible Kane product that also features the Kane Link function, allowing the operator to perform more testing such as balance heating systems, check A/C units or kitchen fans, test for CO and more. Using Kane Link users are able to gather all information on the same device.
