Megger EVCA210-UK Electric Vehicle Charge Point Adaptor
The Megger EVCA210-UK Electric Vehicle Charge Point Adaptor is built to simulate the connection between an electrical vehicle and a charging point that is being tested. The EVCA210 adaptor using its intuitive interface can determine dangerous voltages that are present on the PE. Both Type 1 and Type 2 plugs are supplied with unit with Type 1 plugs for charging points with fixed cables and vehicles connectors and Type 2 plugs used for fixed cables with vehicle connectors air charging points featuring panel mounted socket outlets. This instrument boasts an input voltage of up to 250V in a single phase system, up to 430V in a three phase system and input frequency of 50/60Hz.
The EVCA210 incorporates front mounted mains sockets and 4mm connection ports (L1, L2, L3, N and PE) for performing measurements on live conductors whilst the two additional CP signal thermals so a technician can measure CP signal signal via an oscilloscope. The EVCA210 is IP54 rated offering protection from dust ingress and encased in a soft carry case. The CAT II 300V device conducts testing in accordance with IEC/EN 61851-1 and IEC/HD 60364-7-722 regulations. The unit is also compliant with Low Voltage Directive LVD 2014/35 and in line with EC/EN 61010-1:2010 and IEC/EN 61010-2-030:2010 safety standards.
