    Testo 480 Multifunction Climate Meter

    The Testo 480 Multifunction Climate Meter can measure multiple environmental parameters including air flow, temperature, humidity, pressure, turbulence, heat radiation, CO2, light intensity, PMV/PPD and WBGT. A choice of different probes have differing measurement ranges and accuracies, for example with vane or hot wire anemometer probes and pt100 or type K temperature probes.

    High resolution readings and excellent accuracy characterise all measurement parameters. This renders the meter useful for a wide range of applications across ventilation, indoor air quality and more in accordance with EN 12599, ISO 7730 and ISO 7243. Please note that the Testo 480 only comes with an internal differential pressure sensor (-100mbar to 100mbar) as standard and all other probes must be purchased separately.

    The digital sensors used with the Testo 480 are extremely accurate as the meter has no measurement inaccuracy. Any deviations found during calibration can be saved to the sensor and then compensated to a zero error value. Up to three digital sensors and two type K thermocouple can be connected at any one time.

    The Testo 480 has a four-line graphical display capable of showing multiple parameters simultaneously and it is operated using a handy push-button interface. The large memory has enough room to store 60 million measurements and the meter has a set of pre-saved programmes that guide the user through various measurement functions.

    The Easy Climate PC software package provided with the Testo 480 can be used to transfer data to a PC via the supplied USB cable for analysis, archiving and reporting. It also includes a protocol designer that will create tailored procedures for specific customers whilst compatibility with an optional Testo fast printer allows hard copies to be printed on site.

    The Testo 480 is supplied with a rechargeable battery that will power the instrument for approximately 17 hours on a single charge. Other accessories include a power adaptor, USB cable and calibration protocol.
