Testo 872s Thermal Building Inspection Kit

The Testo 872s Thermal Image Building Inspection Kit is specifically curated for a host of applications such as detecting leaks, mould and thermal bridges. The kit includes the highly intuitive Testo 872s Thermal Imaging Camera plus the easy to use (and FREE) 605i Thermohygrometer.

When the 872s Thermal Camera and 605i Smart Probe are combined they become the ideal tool for detecting areas susceptible to mould. Condensation can often form in areas with high levels of humidity and the result can often be potentially hazardous mould. By determining the ambient temperature, humidity and measured surface temperature, the 872s kit is able to calculate the relative surface moisture of a selected zone and the likelihood of mould growth. The results are displayed through an intuitive traffic light system; red equates to an area at high risk of mould, amber represents a potentially problematic area, and green indicates those which are safe. By being ahead of the curve, the 872s kit can not only detect mould but help prevent it altogether.

Thermal bridges, structural defects and incorrect ventilation can also be detected by the 872s kit, with the 605i smart probe logging the results in real-time within the thermal camera. Faulty water pipes, incorrect water run-off systems, blocked drains or insufficient seepage can all lead to moisture damage. However, the 872s kit is purpose built to not only locate this damage, but help you trace it back to the source in question.

High-quality thermal images and video footage is produced by the Testo 872s Thermal Imaging Camera using a non-contact 320 x 240 pixel thermal sensor, within a range of -30˚C to 650˚C, and an accuracy of ±2˚C or 2%. With a thermal sensitivity of 50mK, images and video are presented on the Testo 872s' large, customisable digital display. The 872s boasts a wealth of impressive features:

Testo 605i Thermohygrometer

The Testo 605i Advanced Bluetooth Thermohygrometer provides the user with the ability to measure air temperature and humidity. The air temperature range is between -20˚C & 60˚C, at an accuracy of ±0.5˚C and a resolution of 0.1˚C. Whilst the relative humidity operates within a range of 0 to 100%, featuring an accuracy of ±3% and a resolution of 0.1% RH.
