Protimeter MMS3 Moisture Measurement System Restoration Kit

The Protimeter MMS3 Moisture Measurement System Restoration Kit is intended to serve those working within a flood or fire restoration capacity. To ensure a successful restoration effort, the degrading presence of moisture within a building's structural elements must be carefully evaluated. Crucially, the kit includes a heavy duty hammer electrode and 5” deep wall probe, designed to provide moisture measurements at deeper levels within wood and concrete respectively.

The MMS3 possesses both invasive and non-invasive moisture measurement functionalities. The integrated pin detectors provide surface-level detection, while the non-invasive sensitivity mode allows for detection 19-120mm below the surface. An IR laser pointer enables non-contact surface temperature measurements to be taken. All of this data can be automatically or manually logged, with storage for up to 10,000 records available. The Protimeter PC software allows for export and analysis of data, while live data streaming is possible through the Protimeter mobile app. The unit’s easy-to-use interface is navigated through a large 2.4” colour display, with multi-language capability.

As previously mentioned, the key additions within the Restoration kit are the heavy duty hammer electrode and 5” deep wall probe. These accessories are designed to provide moisture measuring capabilities at increased depths, this can often be highly useful in assessing the severity of water ingress within a wooden or concrete structure. This kit also includes 4 x hammer pins, should spares be required, and is completed by the inclusion of a hard carry case to ensure protection during storage and transit.
